The Persatuan Ummsch Islam (PUI) has expressed its gratitude and\nappreciation to Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo for his service and\nleadership during his tenure as the Chief of the Indonesian National\nPolice (Kapolri). PUI stated that General Sigit successfully maintained\nIndonesia\u2019s security throughout his leadership.<\/p>\n
\u201cPUI conveys its thanks and appreciation to Police General Listyo\nSigit Prabowo for his dedication and leadership in leading the National\nPolice. We appreciate the various efforts made to maintain the security,\norder, and unity of the Indonesian people,\u201d said PUI General Chairman\nRaizal Arifin in a statement received on Saturday (3\/10\/2026).<\/p>\n
According to Raizal, General Sigit\u2019s leadership faced significant\nchallenges. Therefore, communication and partnerships with community\norganisations must continue to be maintained and developed.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor PUI, the relationship between the National Police and the\ncommunity is not only about security, but also about how to work\ntogether to build a safe, orderly, and civil social life. We hope this\nspirit of collaboration can continue,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
PUI Deputy General Chairman Irfan Ahmad Fauzi also expressed\nappreciation for the National Police\u2019s attention to various social and\ncommunity issues.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe thank General Listyo Sigit for his service while leading the\nNational Police. There are many areas for collaboration that can\ncontinue to be developed between the police and community organisations,\nparticularly in public education, youth development, drug prevention,\nand the strengthening of social resilience,\u201d said Irfan.<\/p>\n
Irfan noted that leadership changes are a natural part of the\ninstitutional process. He emphasised that the important task moving\nforward is to ensure that public service agendas and the strengthening\nof the relationship between the police and the community continue\nuninterrupted.<\/p>\n
\u201cEvery leadership has its own challenges and context. PUI hopes that\nthe positive developments established during General Listyo Sigit\u2019s\nleadership can become part of the continuity of the National Police\u2019s\nservice to the community,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
PUI also expressed appreciation for the National Police\u2019s commitment\nto building an approach that prioritises service and partnership with\nthe community. PUI also expressed hope that General Listyo Sigit would\ncontinue to contribute to the nation and state after completing his term\nas Chief of National Police.<\/p>\n
