        "content": "<p>Public warned on illegal Xenical<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): PT Roche Indonesia has warned customers that<br>\nXenical, its antiobesity drug, is being sold on the black market<br>\nwithout a registration number from the Ministry of Health and is<br>\nbeing imported through illegal channels.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement made available to The Jakarta Post, the company<br>\nsaid that Xenical, which is produced by Roche Switzerland for<br>\npatients with a body mass index (BMI) equal to or more than 30<br>\nwith associated risk factors, should be obtained only with a<br>\ndoctor's prescription at a pharmacy and must be stored under<br>\nrefrigerated conditions. It should be taken under medical<br>\nsupervision and in conjunction with a proper weight management<br>\nprogram.<\/p>\n<p>BMI is a weight indicator measured by dividing weight (in<br>\nkilograms) with the square of height (in meters). Obese is a BMI<br>\nof 30 or more.<\/p>\n<p>\"PT Roche Indonesia cannot be held responsible for the quality<br>\nand origin of the illegal product and therefore warns people<br>\nagainst purchasing it,\" the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>The marketing of the illegal drug violates Law No. 23 on<br>\nhealth.<\/p>",
