He added that Indonesia\u2019s journey was built through the long struggle\nof the nation\u2019s founders, who sacrificed their lives for independence.\nTherefore, all elements of society must preserve the integrity of the\nUnitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).<\/p>\n
\u2018We must not be divided simply because of the political interests of\ncertain groups. This nation was built with great sacrifice and must be\nsafeguarded together,\u2019 Fithrat said in an official statement in Jakarta\non Sunday.<\/p>\n
He reminded the public to remain critical of various political and\neconomic issues as they develop. However, according to him, criticism of\nthe government must be delivered constructively and not driven by\nspecific political interests.<\/p>\n
He also urged the public not to be easily influenced by narratives\nthat could potentially trigger disunity, especially amid global economic\nconditions still facing uncertainty due to international geopolitical\nconflicts.<\/p>\n
Fithrat assessed that the weakening of the rupiah exchange rate and\nthe financial market fluctuations that occurred cannot be separated from\nglobal conditions, including geopolitical tensions affecting the\neconomies of various countries.<\/p>\n
\u2018This incident is not a problem faced solely by Indonesia. Many\ncountries are also experiencing economic pressure due to the uncertain\ngeopolitical and global economic situation,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n
According to Fithrat, every country has its own strategy for facing\nthese challenges. He assessed that the Indonesian government is\ncurrently striving to take various steps towards economic recovery and\nmaintaining investor confidence.<\/p>\n
He also appreciated a number of measures taken by the government and\nstakeholders in maintaining national economic stability. According to\nhim, these efforts are evident from market conditions that have begun to\nshow improvement after experiencing previous pressures.<\/p>\n
