Rumah Zakat held the Public Expose 2026 as a demonstration of\ntransparency and accountability to the public. This also reaffirms its\ncommitment to delivering tangible impacts for society through the spirit\nof \u201cImpact in Action\u201d.<\/p>\n
The event was attended by the former 13th Vice President Prof DR (HC)\nKH Ma\u2019ruf Amin, as well as Prof Dr H Waryono Abdul Ghofur, S.Ag, M.Ag,\nDirector of Zakat and Waqf Empowerment at the Ministry of Religious\nAffairs, and Dr H Zainut Tauhid Sa\u2019adi, M.Si, Deputy Chairman of Baznas,\nas part of support for the empowerment movement initiated by Rumah\nZakat.<\/p>\n
As an institution managing zakat, infak, sedekah, and other social\nfunds, Rumah Zakat holds official legal status under government\nregulations with principles of transparent, accountable, and\nsharia-compliant governance. This position makes Rumah Zakat a trusted\npartner for the public, corporations, and various stakeholders in\nefforts to empower the ummah.<\/p>\n
Throughout 2025 into 2026, through the #BikinBahagia movement, Rumah\nZakat and its strategic partners successfully reached 1,896,896\nprogramme participants, both domestically and internationally.<\/p>\n
The empowerment programmes implemented cover sectors such as\neducation, health, economy, and environment, with impacts felt directly\nby communities.<\/p>\n
In Sumatra, various humanitarian programmes are focused on disaster\nresponse, one of which already involves affected communities in the\nresponse and recovery processes, as well as post-disaster recovery\nthrough the provision of temporary housing, food aid, and health\nservices.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, in Palestine, Rumah Zakat continues to channel\nhumanitarian aid in the form of food, health services, and support for\nrefugees affected by conflict, as a manifestation of global humanitarian\nsolidarity.<\/p>\n
Entering Ramadan 2026, Rumah Zakat is once again presenting various\nflagship programmes. These include the distribution of iftar and suhoor\npackages, food aid for underprivileged families, Eid gifts for orphans,\nEid clothes for the poor, zakat fitrah and fidyah programmes, and\nmosque-based empowerment.<\/p>\n
All programmes are designed to expand benefits while strengthening\ncommunity social solidarity.<\/p>\n
In the framework of the Public Expose 2026, Rumah Zakat presented\nseveral awards as a form of appreciation for the contributions of\nvarious parties.<\/p>\n
The Lifetime Achievement 2025 award was given to Dr (HC) Abdul\nMuhaimin Iskandar, along with other awards in the categories of\nEmpowerment Figure 2025, Happiness Awards 2025, and Outstanding\nStakeholder 2025.<\/p>\n
Lifetime Achievement is an award given to individuals who have\ndemonstrated dedication, commitment, and extraordinary contributions\nthroughout their journey of service in the fields of social,\nhumanitarian, or community empowerment.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the Empowerment Figure award is given to individuals\ndedicated to realising community welfare and independence through\nvarious sustainable empowerment efforts.<\/p>\n
The Happiness Awards include impactful empowerment collaboration\npartners, exemplary impactful muzakki, impactful influencers, and\nimpactful humanitarian partners.<\/p>\n
As well as the Outstanding Partnership Award, which is given to\npartners who have successfully built strong, effective, and impactful\npartnerships in supporting the implementation of social and humanitarian\nprogrammes.<\/p>\n
In addition, on the same occasion, a press conference session was\nheld discussing the implementation of the Impact in Action theme and\ncontinuing other goodness movements through the #QurbanBikinBahagia\nprogramme.<\/p>\n
The series of activities was also filled with the signing of\nmemoranda of understanding (MoUs) as a strategic step in strengthening\ncross-sector collaborations.<\/p>\n
Embracing the theme Impact in Action, Rumah Zakat affirms that every\ntrust received is not only channelled but realised in measurable and\nsustainable real actions. This theme reflects the institution\u2019s\ntransformation from mere aid distribution to a driver of social impact\ncapable of significantly changing community lives.<\/p>\n
