The Professional and Security Division (Bidpropam) of the Bali
Regional Police continues to intensify outreach for a QR code-based
public complaint service developed by the Indonesian National Police’s
Propam Division.

The socialisation event was held at the Bali Regional Police
Precision Building on Friday, 27 February 2026. The activity was led by
the Head of the Provos Sub-section of Bidpropam Polda Bali, AKBP I Ketut
Dana, and attended by 145 personnel participating in the Pre-Operation
Exercise (Latpraops) Cipkon Agung 2026.

AKBP I Ketut Dana explained that the socialisation aimed to provide
personnel with an understanding of the easy access to the public
complaint service regarding alleged violations committed by police
officers. According to him, the QR code-based online complaint service
makes it convenient for the public to submit reports quickly, securely,
and transparently by simply scanning the QR code available on various
official Propam Polri platforms.

“This online complaint service represents a breakthrough programme of
the Propam Division as a form of public service transformation towards a
more transparent and efficient supervision system,” he stated.

Through this service, the public can directly scan the QR code, then
fill in their identity, the sequence of events, and attach supporting
evidence. Incoming reports will be received directly with a guarantee of
confidentiality of the complainant’s identity.

With this socialisation, it is hoped that public trust in the police
institution will increase, particularly in the enforcement of internal
discipline and ethics codes. Furthermore, this service is also expected
to strengthen transparency and accelerate the complaint handling
process.
",
