House of Representatives (DPR) Speaker Puan Maharani arrived at the\nDPR building to attend the 2026 MPR Annual Session and the Joint Session\nof the DPR and DPD. Puan was dressed in an olive green kebaya.<\/p>\n
Based on detikcom\u2019s observation at the parliament complex in Senayan,\nCentral Jakarta, on Friday (14\/8\/2026), Puan arrived at the location at\naround 08.11 WIB. Upon arrival, she immediately entered the Nusantara\nBuilding.<\/p>\n
Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, MPR Speaker Ahmad Muzani, MPR\nDeputy Speakers Eddy Soeparno, Bambang Wuryanto, and Rusdi Kirana, as\nwell as DPR Deputy Speakers Sufmi Dasco Ahmad and Sari Yuliati, had\nalready arrived earlier.<\/p>\n
Also present were a number of officials, including the 10th and 12th\nVice President Jusuf Kalla, 11th Vice President Boediono, the wife of\nthe 4th President Sinta Nuriyah, and the daughter of the 4th President\nYenny Wahid.<\/p>\n

In this Annual and Joint Session, President Prabowo Subianto will\ndeliver a report on the performance of state institutions and a state\naddress in conjunction with the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of\nIndonesia. The event is scheduled to commence at 08.30 WIB.<\/p>\n
Former presidents and vice presidents were invited to the Annual and\nJoint Session. Additionally, cabinet ministers and political party\nleaders were also invited.<\/p>\n
DPR Speaker Puan Maharani explained the reason the Annual MPR Session\nand the DPR-DPD Joint Session this year was held on 14 August 2026. Puan\nstated that the session must be held on a working day.<\/p>\n
