        "content": "<p>PT&amp;T deals with Koreans<\/p>\n<p>MANILA (UPI): Philippine telecommunications company Pt&amp;T and<br>\nits strategic partner, Korea Telecom Philippines Inc. have signed<br>\na 717.6-million peso ($27.3 million) agreement with Korea<br>\nCommunications Engineering for the installation of some 93,300<br>\nlocal exchange lines, company officials said yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Under the agreement, Korea Communications plans to supply the<br>\nmaterials, labor and engineering components for the project,<br>\nwhich is expected to be finished by the end of next year.<\/p>\n<p>The contract was signed by Pt&amp;T President Jose Luis Santiago,<br>\nKorea Telecom president Hyung Shik Kim and Korea Communications<br>\nPresident Deok Sik Kim.<\/p>",
