Holding Perkebunan Nusantara PTPN III (Persero) has affirmed its\ncommitment to marking the 81st anniversary of Indonesian independence\nthrough the presence of a state-owned enterprise that does not merely\nperform a business function.<\/p>\n
However, President Director of PTPN III (Persero), Denaldy Mulino\nMauna, stressed that PTPN Group\u2019s presence in this 81st Independence Day\nmoment is also aimed at promoting community empowerment and building\neconomic self-reliance in various regions.<\/p>\n
\u201cPTPN Group wants to ensure that the company\u2019s presence can be felt\nby the community, especially through empowerment that builds capacity\nand self-reliance,\u201d said Denaldy in his statement on Tuesday, 18 August\n2026.<\/p>\n
He explained that one form of this is realised through the Bakti BUMN\nVolunteer Programme 2026 in Bulok Village, Kalianda District, South\nLampung Regency. The programme is part of efforts to strengthen\ncommunity capacity while developing local potential sustainably.<\/p>\n
In Bulok Village, the volunteers engaged in various activities that\naddress community needs, ranging from education, strengthening MSMEs,\nimproving the capacity of homestay managers, supporting nutritional\nfulfilment, health services, to environmental activities and the\nutilisation of productive land.<\/p>\n
More than 40 MSME operators in Bulok Village have also received\ntraining in simple financial management and business digitalisation.\nMeanwhile, seven homestay managers received hospitality training to\nimprove service quality, cleanliness, and comfort for tourists.<\/p>\n
In the field of education, volunteers were present through the\nRelawan Mengajar programme at SDN Bulok and SDN 2 Bulok. Students\nreceived instruction on discipline and the prevention of drug abuse as\npart of efforts to build character and awareness from an early age.<\/p>\n
The programme also touched on health and environmental aspects.\nVolunteers together with the community carried out posyandu activities,\nhealth check-ups, and supported the fulfilment of community\nnutrition.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, 810 coconut seedlings were handed over and planted\ntogether with the Bulok Village Farmers Group to support reforestation\nas well as the utilisation of productive land, which is expected to\nprovide economic benefits for the community.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis series of activities is a simple form of how the spirit of\nindependence is translated into everyday life. For PTPN Group, we\ntranslate that spirit through work, care, and a commitment to\nstrengthening communities,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
To commemorate the 81st Independence Day, PTPN Group also held a\nsimple and solemn ceremony at Agro Plaza, Jakarta, on Monday, 17 August\n2026.
