PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk (PTBA) is preparing reliable operations\nto ensure production sustainability, alongside its coal production\nplanning for the year 2027.<\/p>\n
PTBA President Director Bambang Ismawan stated in Jakarta on Monday\nthat the planning process takes into account government approvals,\ndomestic supply priorities, and export market dynamics amidst the energy\ntransition.<\/p>\n
\u201cPTBA is in the process of submitting the proposed 2027 production\nplan to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM). We\nconsistently prioritise domestic supply needs while closely monitoring\nexport market opportunities,\u201d said Bambang.<\/p>\n
He added that national coal production targets fall under the\nauthority of the Ministry of ESDM. Government approval serves as a\nreference for producers to align production plans with domestic\nrequirements, strategic reserves, and market conditions.<\/p>\n
Bambang also noted that the company has submitted a request to the\nMinister of ESDM regarding the approval to use PT Satria Bahana Sarana\n(PT SBS) as an affiliated mining contractor service company.<\/p>\n
This submission is part of an effort to ensure that operational\nactivities run in accordance with regulations while maintaining\nproduction supply for national energy security.<\/p>\n
