        "content": "<p>PT Timah (Persero) Tbk is empowering and mentoring 10,289 micro,\nsmall, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) within the company\u2019s operational\nareas to support the \u2018MSME Scale Up\u2019 initiative, enabling them to\ncompete and market products in the global market.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCurrently, 56 partner MSMEs have successfully scaled up within the\ncompany\u2019s operational areas,\u201d said Rahmat Taufik, Head of CSR at PT\nTimah (Persero) Tbk, in Pangkalpinang on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that PT Timah (Persero) Tbk, through its Micro, Small, and\nMedium Enterprise Business Funding Programme (PUMK), has supported the\ndevelopment of 10,289 MSMEs across the provinces of Bangka Belitung,\nRiau, and Riau Islands. The goal is to help these entrepreneurs progress\nto higher business levels to boost the economy and family welfare.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough PUMK, we provide business capital assistance, training,\nmentoring, and product promotion across various sectors, including\ntrade, industry, services, fisheries, livestock, agriculture,\nplantations, cooperatives, and creative industries,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that PT Timah (Persero) Tbk\u2019s capital assistance is an\neffort by the company to ensure MSME players can easily access flexible\nbusiness funds. Additionally, MSME training is provided to improve\ntechnical and management expertise.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis programme is one of PT Timah\u2019s efforts to encourage community\neconomic growth while strengthening the capacity of MSME players so they\nare able to expand and scale up,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Anggi Siahaan, Head of Corporate Communication at PT Timah (Persero)\nTbk, stated that the PUMK programme is part of the company\u2019s commitment\nto supporting the economic strengthening of communities within its\noperational areas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPT Timah continues to strive to support MSME growth through\nsustainable funding and mentoring programmes.
