        "content": "<p>PT Telkom makes errors<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesian Consumers Foundation (YLKI) urged<br>\nyesterday PT Telkom, the state-owned telecommunications company,<br>\nto announce the errors made in counting the phone bills of<br>\ncustomers whose number begins with 0251-55.<\/p>\n<p>YLKI claimed that last August, the company made mistakes in<br>\nbilling calls from Parung, near Bogor, to Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>The air distance between Parung and Jakarta is 30 kilometers,<br>\nso calls between the areas are local and not long-distance calls.<\/p>\n<p>But PT Telkom bills collected from Parung customers listed<br>\nParung-Jakarta calls as long-distance calls and charged the<br>\ncustomers accordingly, YLKI claimed<\/p>\n<p>Therefore YLKI has again urged PT Telkom to:<\/p>\n<p>1. Publicly announce the errors through local print and<br>\nelectronic media.<\/p>\n<p>2. Send letters of apology to the customers affected.<\/p>\n<p>3.
