        "content": "<p>PT Otsuka holds social activities<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): PT Otsuka Indonesia, a pharmaceutical firm, is<br>\nproviding free medical treatment for poor families in eight<br>\npuskesmas community health centers in Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>The program started at a puskesmas in Kebayoran Lama, South<br>\nJakarta, on Tuesday. The services available include dental care,<br>\ninfant immunization and family planning.<\/p>\n<p>Amir Basir, vice president of PT Otsuka, said that the eight<br>\nclinics are part of 25 puskesmas centers in a number of cities<br>\nthroughout the country to receive the services.<\/p>\n<p>PT Otsuka, the producer of a newly introduced soft drink in<br>\nIndonesia, is a joint venture between Indonesian and Japanese<br>\ncompanies and not between Indonesian and Korean firms as was<br>\nreported yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>He reiterated that the program is being held to commemorate<br>\nthe 50th anniversary of Indonesia's independence and also the<br>\n20th anniversary of the company's establishment.
