Psychics help locate missing chopper<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): The National Search and Rescue Agency,
\nfrustrated after six days of searching for a missing helicopter
\nwith 18 people on board in the jungle of East Kalimantan, has
\nturned to the services of psychics.<\/p>\n
The rescue agency's chief, Air Force Commodore Harianto, was
\nquoted by the Antara news agency as saying that while they're at
\nit, the psychics have been asked to locate another helicopter
\nwhich has been missing since May.<\/p>\n
Harianto said his agency has been combing an area local people
\ndescribe as the "Bermuda Triangle" covering thick jungle between
\nthe Kongmemol, Long Nawang and Batu Tikung mountains.<\/p>\n
He said over the weekend that his agency is giving itself
\nuntil Tuesday (tomorrow) before abandoning the search.<\/p>\n
The Sikorsky S-5BT helicopter belonging to the private
\noperator PT Air Fast Indonesia went missing on Tuesday after
\ntaking off from Tabang. The helicopter, which was hired by a
\ntimber company, PT Sumber Daya Alam, lost all contact with the
\nSepinggan airport in Samarinda five minutes after takeoff.<\/p>\n
A helicopter with two people on board also went missing in the
\nsame area in May and has not been found to this day. (emb)<\/p>",
