        "content": "<p>PSSI to decide fate of Danurwindo today<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) will<br>\nmeet today to decide whether to replace Danurwindo as national<br>\ncoach.<\/p>\n<p>A PSSI source said yesterday the association&apos;s technical<br>\ndirector, Nirwan Bakrie, would issue a statement on Danurwindo<br>\nand problems facing the organization.<\/p>\n<p>Danurwindo said earlier that he was responsible for the team&apos;s<br>\npoor performances against Yemen and Cambodia.<\/p>\n<p>Indonesia was held to a 0-0 home draw against Yemen and has<br>\nwon two matches against Cambodia, 8-0 at home and 1-1 away, in<br>\nits Group 5 World Cup Asian zone qualifying matches.<\/p>\n<p>Indonesia leads the group with five points, followed by Yemen<br>\nwith four points and Cambodia with one point. Uzbekistan has not<br>\nyet played any matches in the group.<\/p>\n<p>Uzbekistan has its first away match May 9 against Yemen. It<br>\nwill meet Cambodia away on May 25 before taking on Indonesia away<br>\non June 1.<\/p>\n<p>Uzbekistan, a former Soviet Union state, will host Indonesia<br>\non June 20, Cambodia on June 29 and Yemen on July 13.<\/p>\n<p>Indonesia&apos;s next match is against Yemen away on June 13.<\/p>\n<p>Danurwindo has said he will resign if the association doubts<br>\nhis competence.<\/p>\n<p>The association was aware of Danurwindo&apos;s statement and would<br>\ndecide his fate today, the source said.<\/p>\n<p>The association&apos;s secretary, Nugraha Besoes, said Tuesday that<br>\nthere would be a meeting today.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;The meeting will be attended by all the association&apos;s<br>\nmembers. It will also discuss reports and evaluations on the<br>\nnational team&apos;s performance,&quot; Nugraha was quoted by the daily<br>\nKompas.<\/p>\n<p>Nugraha declined to say whether changes would be made to the<br>\nteam. &quot;This will be decided in the meeting on Thursday.
