        "content": "<p>Prudential Indonesia has launched PRUMapan, a traditional life\ninsurance product designed for the Millennial and Gen Z generations.\nThis product aims to help young people plan their long-term finances\nwhile reducing the risk of falling into the \u2018sandwich generation\u2019\ncycle.<\/p>\n<p>Data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) indicates that\nIndonesia\u2019s inflation will reach 2.92% by the end of 2025\n(year-on-year), while YouGov research (October 2024) shows that\napproximately 41 million people in Indonesia belong to the \u2018sandwich\ngeneration\u2019, with the majority being Millennials (53%) and Gen Z\n(26%).<\/p>\n<p>Chief Customer &amp; Marketing Officer of Prudential Indonesia, Karin\nZulkarnaen, stated that the potential market among young people is still\nvery large. She added that the latest data shows that only 21 million\nIndonesians have individual insurance policies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe market for Gen Z and Millennials is still very large. Our\npopulation is largely composed of young people, so this market is very\nimportant to us. We see that many people in Indonesia still lack\ninsurance protection,\u201d said Karin during the launch of PRUMapan at Bale\nNusa on Wednesday (February 26, 2026) evening.<\/p>\n<p>The PRUMapan premium starts from IDR 200,000, with flexible payment\noptions, guaranteed returns in the form of the \u2018Dana Mapan\u2019 benefit, and\na registration process that does not require a medical examination.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the benefits of this product include life protection against\nnatural death and additional coverage for accidental death, as\nstipulated in the policy. It also includes the \u2018Dana Mapan\u2019 benefit,\nwhich is paid from the age of 55 to 75 (or 20 years after the \u2018Usia\nMapan\u2019).<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, it offers flexibility to access the \u2018Dana Mapan\u2019 benefit\nearlier, starting from the age of 45 or after 11 premium payments\n(whichever comes later), as well as the option of additional premiums at\nthe beginning of the policy to increase the \u2018Dana Mapan\u2019 benefit,\nspecifically for policyholders aged 37 or older.<\/p>\n<p>The maximum benefit that can be received is up to 5.8 times the\nannual premium, depending on the policyholder\u2019s age. The product also\nprovides flexible cash benefit options to suit customer needs, such as\nthe option to receive the \u2018Dana Mapan\u2019 benefit in equal annual\ninstallments over 21 years or in a larger amount in the first year and\nequal amounts in subsequent years.<\/p>\n<p>Registration is easy, with no health examination required for a\nmaximum annual premium of IDR 250 million per policyholder, or with a\nfew health questions for annual premiums exceeding IDR 250 million up to\nIDR 500 million per policyholder.<\/p>",
