        "content": "<p>Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) and Head of the Task Force for\nAccelerating Rehabilitation and Reconstruction (Kasatgas PRR)\nPost-Sumatra Disaster, Muhammad Tito Karnavian, has emphasised that\nlocal governments (Pemda) should immediately accelerate the data\ncollection on damaged homes affected by the disaster, in categories of\nlight, moderate, and severe. This step is deemed crucial to ensure that\naid distribution proceeds on time, thereby fulfilling the rights of\ndisaster victims promptly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf there is no classification of light, moderate, severe as\nmentioned, the aid funds cannot be disbursed,\u201d said Tito during the\ninspection of Permanent Housing (Huntap) in Sitonong Bangun Ward,\nPinangsori Subdistrict, Central Tapanuli Regency (Tapteng), North\nSumatra (Sumut), on Friday (27\/3).<\/p>\n<p>Tito explained that according to regulations, residents with lightly\ndamaged homes are entitled to Rp15 million in aid, while those with\nmoderately damaged homes receive Rp30 million.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the government is preparing aid from the Ministry of\nSocial Affairs, including living guarantees (jadup) of Rp15,000 per\nperson per day for three months, household furniture aid of Rp3 million,\nand economic aid worth Rp5 million.<\/p>\n<p>To accelerate aid distribution, Tito instructed the Regent of\nTapteng, Masinton Pasaribu, to immediately form a special data\ncollection team involving BPBD, the Social Services Office, and\nDukcapil, with support from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS).<\/p>\n<p>In particular, the team is requested to go directly to the field with\nadequate budget support, and to target completion of data collection\nwithin one week.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Tito stated that the government is ready to take firm\naction against parties that hinder the acceleration of disaster\nresponse. He also urged regional heads not to hesitate in evaluating and\nreporting officials who do not support the process.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a disaster situation; do not let the community become\nvictims,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the government, through the Ministry of Housing and\nSettlement Areas (PKP), the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB),\nand the Ministry of Social Affairs, has expressed full readiness to\nrealise construction and aid distribution.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the implementation of physical construction, including\nhuntap, is still awaiting complete valid data and the provision of legal\nland from the Central Tapanuli Regency Government.<\/p>",
