The PRR aims to relocate all refugees from tents before Lebaran, with huntara or housing waiting funds provided.

Minister of Home Affairs and simultaneously Chairman of the Satgas
Percepatan Rehabilitasi dan Rekonstruksi (PRR) Pasca bencana Wilayah
Sumatera, Muhammad Tito Karnavian, personally inspected the
post-disaster recovery process in Pidie Jaya Regency on Friday (6/3).
The visit was conducted to ensure the acceleration of infrastructure
rehabilitation and the disbursement of aid to communities affected by
the disaster that struck the area in late November 2025. Tito said the
central government together with local government had mobilised various
resources since the disaster occurred. At that time, vital
infrastructure such as roads, bridges, electricity, and communications
networks were disrupted. “In essence, for roughly two to three months,
there have already been many changes. The national roads are passable,
electricity has been restored, the internet [is available], perhaps also
BBM (fuel),” he said at the Masjid Agung Tgk Chik Pante Geulima, Pidie
Jaya Regency, Aceh, on Friday (6/3). “I clearly remember in Pidie Jaya,
the petrol stations were queueing, some even closed. Now I can see it
has returned to normal,” he added. Nevertheless, Tito stressed that
there are still several tasks to be completed, especially flood mud
cleaning, river sediment management, and repairs to damaged bridges and
roads. In addition to infrastructure, the government also pays special
attention to the management of the displaced persons. The PRR Task Force
aims for all refugees not to be living in tents before Lebaran. “Now
specifically for the refugees, we target that before Idul Fitri, there
will be no more tents. Yesterday we held a full meeting; the result is
all should be in huntara, temporary housing. Or they will be given
Housing Waiting Fund (Dana Tunggu Hunian),” he said. The government also
distributed various aid to affected communities, including daily living
essentials, household furniture, and economic assistance for eligible
beneficiaries. Tito added that Pidie Jaya Regency is one of the areas
receiving a large amount of initial aid because the local government
could prepare recipient data quickly and completely. “Actually the
operation was coordinated across all districts (there are 52) in three
provinces, because Pidie Jaya received the largest amount of first-phase
aid. Why the largest? Because the Regent could provide the most complete
data first, because of that. Thank you, Mr. Regent,” he concluded.
(ory/ory)[Gambas:Video CNN]
",
