        "content": "<p>Protesters demand speedy graft probe<\/p>\n<p>BANDUNG: Some 500 people staged a protest on Thursday in front<br>\nof the West Java Prosecutor's Office, demanding the prosecutors<br>\nto speed up investigations into a Rp 33.4 billion (US$3.6<br>\nmillion) graft, allegedly committed by the West Java councillors.<\/p>\n<p>In response to the demand, chief of the West Java Prosecutor's<br>\nOffice Charles Mindamora, said that the prosecutors were writing<br>\ndossiers on the case, and that the office would soon hand over<br>\nthe dossiers to court for prosecution.<\/p>\n<p>The protesters, Indonesian Grass Root Society, occupied the<br>\noffice for four hours in the protest, causing heavy congestion on<br>\nthe street in front of the office. -- JP<\/p>",
