        "content": "<p>Protest rallies and public order<\/p>\n<p>From Koran Tempo<\/p>\n<p>The government&apos;s decision to raise fuel prices, telephone<br>\ntariffs and electricity rates simultaneously has caused strong<br>\nand widespread reactions as expressed, among various means,<br>\nthrough protests by university students and other social<br>\ncomponents.<\/p>\n<p>By virtue of Law No. 8\/1998 on the freedom of expression,<br>\nprotests are legal in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, in some cases, protesters have gone beyond what<br>\nis permitted by this law.
