        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Prosecutor Roy Riady stated that the charges\nagainst former Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology,\nNadiem Makarim, were based on evidence and facts presented during the\ntrial, not on opinions or perceptions.<\/p>\n<p>Roy said that the entire structure of the charges was systematically\ncompiled, starting from the indictment, witness testimony, expert\nopinions, electronic evidence, to audit documents and forensic analysis\nof mobile phones.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople can lie, but electronic evidence cannot lie,\u201d Roy said after\nthe sentencing hearing on Wednesday (May 13, 2026).<\/p>\n<p>He said that each legal fact must be supported by at least two pieces\nof evidence, whether in the form of witness testimony, documents,\nphysical evidence, or expert opinions.<\/p>\n<p>Roy also mentioned the alleged direct involvement of Nadiem in the\nuse of the Chrome OS operating system in the Chromebook procurement\nproject.
