Prosecutor receives Hartono's dossier<\/p>\n
Police said yesterday that they have handed over the dossier
\nof Hartono Setyawan, a notorious pimp who specialized in
\nbrokering high-class call-girls, to the Jakarta High Prosecution
\noffice. They will later pass it to the district court for trial.<\/p>\n
"The dossier was sent to the prosecutor's office on Saturday,"
\nCol. Nurfaizi, chief of the Investigative Directorate at the city
\npolice headquarters, told reporters.<\/p>\n
Hartono, 42, considered to be the country's biggest and most
\npowerful pimp for the last two decades, ran a number of high-
\nclass brothels in several big cities, such as Jakarta, Bandung,
\nSurabaya, Denpasar and Semarang.<\/p>\n
Hartono was captured on July 24 in his mansion in the elite
\nPondok Indah housing complex after police arrested six high-class
\ncall-girls at a brothel he ran on Jl. Prapanca, South Jakarta.<\/p>\n
If found guilty, Hartono could be sentenced to one year
\nimprisonment for violating either the criminal code's chapter 296
\nor 506, which forbids sexual procurement. The Chapter 292 sees
\nsexual procurement as crime, while the Chapter 506 sees it as a
\nmisdemeanor.<\/p>\n
Earlier, police had sent to the Jakarta High Prosecutor's
\noffice the dossier of Yor, a prominent executive of a youth
\norganization who was caught red-handed gambling with six other
\npeople at a storehouse on Jl. Daan Mogot, West Jakarta two weeks
\nago.<\/p>\n
Yor was released by police on bail on Thursday after they
