        "content": "<p>The High Prosecutor\u2019s Office of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) has in its\npossession the name of a prospective suspect in a money laundering\n(TPPU) case arising from the corruption involving the purchase of 70\nhectares of land used for the MXGP Samota Circuit, Sumbawa.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes, there is (a suspect),\u201d said the Assistant Special Crimes\n(Aspidsus) at NTB\u2019s High Prosecutor\u2019s Office, Muh Zulkifli Said, on\nWednesday (4 March 2026).<\/p>\n<p>Zulkifli declined to disclose the number and characteristics of the\nprospective suspect. He only revealed that the designation of a suspect\nwould be made in the near future.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot long now, we\u2019ll announce it. As soon as possible,\u201d Zulkifli\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>NTB\u2019s Prosecutor\u2019s Office had previously named the Head of the\nNational Land Agency (BPN) Lombok Tengah, Subhan; Muhammad Julkarnain\nfrom Kantor Jasa Penilai Publik (KJPP); and Saipullah Zulkarnain the\nowner of KJPP as suspects.<\/p>\n<p>Subhan\u2019s house in Desa Karang Bongkot, Kecamatan Labuapi, Lombok\nBarat, has been searched by prosecutors. A number of items related to\nTPPU have been seized.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are several items we found, assets to seize,\u201d Zulkifli\nexplained.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier reports said NTB\u2019s investigators suspected money laundering\nin connection with the corruption in the purchase of 70 hectares for the\nMXGP Samota Circuit, Sumbawa.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn this case, colleagues on the investigation team also smelled\nsomething else. There is another case, TPPU,\u201d said the NTB Attorney\nGeneral (Kajati), Wahyudi, on Monday (19 January 2026).<\/p>\n<p>The handling of TPPU related to the land purchase for the MXGP Samota\nCircuit is in the investigation stage at NTB\u2019s High Prosecutor\u2019s Office.\nHowever, Wahyudi declined to reveal more details about the ongoing\ninvestigation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI cannot say it now. It is still under study,\u201d the former Director\nof B at the Office of the Attorney General for General Criminal Matters\n(Jampidum) said.<\/p>\n<p>Wahyudi also declined to disclose details about tracing assets and\nwealth of the parties allegedly involved in the TPPU case. \u201cThat is a\ntechnique.
