        "content": "<p>The Central Executive Board of Projo has responded positively to Vice\nPresident Gibran Rakabuming Raka\u2019s decision to receive student\nrepresentatives at the Vice Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Monday\n(15\/6). Projo Secretary-General Freddy Alex Damanik viewed the meeting\nas bridging the information gap between the government and the people.\nHe considered the meeting as proof that the government is not\nanti-criticism.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMas Wapres Gibran is conducting healthy political communication. The\npalace doors are opened wide to listen to the anxieties of the youth,\u201d\nFreddy said in a written statement on Tuesday (16\/6). He stated that\nGibran\u2019s willingness to meet with students shows the government respects\ndemocracy and prioritises the people\u2019s aspirations.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, he said Gibran openly acknowledged shortcomings in the\ngovernment and affirmed a commitment to continuous improvement. During\nthe dialogue with students, Gibran reportedly noted down the students\u2019\ndemands, ranging from an evaluation of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG)\nprogramme, economic policies, to education regulations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMas Wapres also conveyed his commitment to directly deliver the\nnotes of these aspirations to President Prabowo Subianto,\u201d Freddy said.\nGibran\u2019s meeting with students was held amidst a series of\ndemonstrations in several major Indonesian cities.
