He, along with five\nother officials appointed on the same occasion, took an oath of loyalty\nto the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and to uphold laws\nand regulations in service to the nation. The following is the profile\nof Dudung Abdurachman: The man born on 19 November 1965 in Bandung is\nknown as a respected military figure during his tenure as Commander of\nthe Jakarta Regional Military Command (Kodam Jaya\/Jayakarta). Before\nbecoming Army Chief of Staff, Retired General Dudung also led the Army\u2019s\nStrategic Reserve Command (Kostrad). Dudung\u2019s education began at\nPatrakomala Elementary School in Bandung from 1972 to 1979. After\ngraduating, he continued to Kartika XIX-1 Junior High School in Bandung,\ncompleting it in 1982.
