        "content": "<p>PT Prodia Widyahusada Tbk (PRDA) is again planning to carry out a\nbuyback of the company\u2019s shares that have been issued and listed on the\nIndonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). This step is a continuation of the\nbuyback programme implemented in 2025 as part of the company\u2019s\ncommitment to maintaining share price stability amid significantly\nfluctuating market conditions and to strengthening shareholder\nconfidence in the company\u2019s fundamentals and long-term prospects.<\/p>\n<p>The company has prepared funds of up to Rp150 billion for the\nbuyback, including transaction costs, sourced entirely from the\ncompany\u2019s internal cash. The buyback will be carried out in stages or at\nonce through the BEI in accordance with market conditions and applicable\nregulations. The buyback plan is implemented in accordance with\nFinancial Services Authority (OJK) regulations, namely POJK Number 13 of\n2023, POJK Number 29 of 2023, and OJK Letter Number S-10\/D.04\/2026 dated\n13 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Under these regulations, the company may carry out the buyback\nwithout first obtaining approval from the General Meeting of\nShareholders (RUPS). The company has conveyed the plan through\nInformation Disclosure to shareholders, and the buyback will be carried\nout through the BEI for a maximum period of 3 months, from 20 August\n2026 to 19 November 2026.<\/p>\n<p>President Director Liana Kuswandi said that the buyback is part of a\nstrategy to create long-term value for all shareholders. \u201cAs a company\nwith strong fundamentals, we view the buyback as a strategic step to\ndemonstrate the company\u2019s confidence in Prodia\u2019s long-term business\nprospects.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Finance &amp; Sustainability Director, who is also the company\u2019s\nCorporate Secretary, Marina Eka Amalia, added that the buyback is being\ncarried out in a measured manner while prioritising the principle of\nprudence in the company\u2019s financial management. \u201cThis buyback is\nsupported by the company\u2019s healthy liquidity, cash flow and\nfundamentals. This step also reflects management\u2019s confidence in the\ncompany\u2019s improving performance and future business growth\nprospects.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Marina said that the buyback funding comes entirely from internal\ncash, so it does not disrupt operational activities, expansion plans, or\nthe company\u2019s ability to meet all its financial obligations.
