We will proceed when we<br>\nare ready,\" Attorney General Mohtar Abdullah was quoted as saying<br>\nby the Sunday Star newspaper.<\/p>\n<p>The former deputy premier and finance minister later lodged a<br>\nreport and a special police team was formed to investigate the<br>\nmatter after Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad ordered a thorough<br>\ninvestigation.<\/p>\n<p>Anwar, who was arrested on Sept. 20, complained he was<br>\nblindfolded and handcuffed before being punched and kicked until<br>\nhe fainted while in police custody.<\/p>",
