This strategy will\nbe implemented through a community-based approach that integrates\nEnvironmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) aspects.<\/p>\n<p>Mohd Hafiz Bin Mohd Jamil, Director of Business Development at\nPrimaverse Sdn Bhd, explained in an official statement in Jakarta on\nSaturday that the company\u2019s carbon project development relies on forest\nconservation involving local residents from the planning to the\nimplementation stages. \u201cOur main foundation is ESG projects, as our\nprojects involve forest conservation. We involve local residents,\nincluding through education and social development programmes,\u201d said\nHafiz.<\/p>\n<p>Hafiz ensured that the company is committed to expanding the economic\nand social impact of the carbon credit business, particularly through\ncooperation with local partners in the sectors of education and\ncommunity empowerment. \u201cGod willing, in the future, we will continue to\nwork with local partners, especially in the fields of education and\ncarbon credit business development. Our primary goal is to assist local\ncommunities, as our foundation is ESG,\u201d Hafelse stated.<\/p>\n<p>In the environmental sector, Primaverse conducts reforestation\nprogrammes using local plant species tailored to the characteristics of\nthe local ecosystem. Additionally, the company is developing\ncommunity-managed tree nurseries and utilising technologies such as\ndrones and satellite imagery to monitor carbon sequestration.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the social aspect, local communities are involved in\nvarious project stages, ranging from the Monitoring, Reporting, and\nVerification (MRV) process and tree planting activities to the\nmanagement of nurseries. Furthermore, the company organises\nentrepreneurship and financial literacy training, establishes village\ncarbon cooperatives, and develops the \u201cTree Adoption\u201d digital programme\nas part of community empowerment.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of governance, the company implements a reporting system\nbased on mobile applications and blockchain technology to enhance\ntransparency in carbon project management. The company is also\nestablishing village-level institutions to play a role in managing\nprojects at the local level.<\/p>\n<p>In line with this commitment, Primaverse Sdn Bhd successfully\nreceived the IDX Channel Anugerah ESG 2025 award, making it the first\nMalaysian company to receive this award in Indonesia for its\nimplementation of ESG principles and carbon credit business\ndevelopment.<\/p>",
