Price of premium gasoline down, diesel up<\/p>\n

State-owned oil and gas firm Pertamina announced on Saturday that
\nthe price of premium gasoline for September had dropped to Rp
\n1,690 per liter from Rp 1,735 in August.<\/p>\n
The company, however, said that the price of automotive diesel
\nin gas stations was up to Rp 1,360 per liter from Rp 1,325 the
\nprevious month.<\/p>\n
It added that the price of other fuel products had also
\nincreased slightly, except for kerosene for household use, which
\nwas stable at Rp 600 per liter.<\/p>\n
Pertamina gave no explanation for the price changes, but a
\ncompany official was quoted earlier as saying that the price of
\npremium gasoline for September could be lowered because of
\noversupply on the international market, while the price of
\nautomotive diesel had to be increased because of the weakening in
\nthe exchange rate of the rupiah against the U.S. dollar.<\/p>\n
Pertamina and the government set the price of fuel products
\neach month based on price developments in Singapore.<\/p>\n
The following is the September price list for various fuel
\nproducts for public and industrial use, except for the mining
\nindustry.<\/p>",
