        "content": "<p>The state visit by President Prabowo Subianto to South Korea has\nyielded significant results in bolstering the economic sector, with the\nsigning of several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) between businesses\nfrom both countries valued at US$10.2 billion (approximately Rp 173\ntrillion). This was conveyed by Coordinating Minister for the Economy\nAirlangga Hartarto following his attendance at the \u201cIndonesia\u2013Korea\nPartnership for Resilient Growth\u201d forum in Seoul, South Korea, on\nWednesday (1\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>As per information received on Thursday, Airlangga attended the\nmeeting representing President Prabowo alongside the Minister of\nInvestment\/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board and CEO of\nDanantara, Rosan Roeslani.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn that meeting, MoUs were signed with a value of US$10.2 billion or\napproximately Rp 173 trillion,\u201d Airlangga stated to the media in\nSeoul.<\/p>\n<p>Airlangga explained that the cooperation covers various strategic\nsectors, including energy and green transition, such as solar power,\ncarbon capture and storage (CCS), and renewable energy.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the cooperation also encompasses the industrial and\nmanufacturing sectors, such as steel, batteries, and eco-friendly\ntransportation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe investments also include the digital sector and artificial\nintelligence (AI). Then property and infrastructure, including\ndevelopment in Bumi Serpong Damai, and business cooperation as well as\nassociations between Kadin and KCCI, particularly to encourage business\ncommitments,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Airlangga noted that several major Korean companies are\nreinforcing their investment commitments in Indonesia, including POSCO\u2019s\ndevelopment of the steel industry and Lotte\u2019s investment interest, which\nopens opportunities for collaboration with Danantara as an investment\npartner.<\/p>\n<p>The Coordinating Minister for the Economy further emphasised that the\nresults of President Prabowo\u2019s visit to South Korea complement the\ninvestment achievements from the previous visit to Japan, which produced\ninvestment commitments of US$23.6 billion or approximately Rp 401\ntrillion.<\/p>",
