        "content": "<p>The ride-hailing platform Gojek has confirmed that there will be no\nincrease in prices for its two-wheel transport service, GoRide,\nfollowing the introduction of Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number\n27 of 2026 regarding the reduction of income deductions for driver\npartners.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will ensure that there are no changes to the prices paid by\nconsumers for regular GoRide services. By doing this, we hope that the\nnumber of consumer orders will remain stable and sustainable, and that\nthe total income for driver partners can also improve,\u201d said Hans\nPatuwo, President Director\/CEO of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO),\nduring a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Hans stated that the company respects and is prepared to\nimplement the directives of President Prabowo Subianto regarding the\nreduction of the commission taken by application providers from online\nmotorcycle taxi drivers to eight per cent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are committed to adjusting the revenue-sharing scheme so that 92\nper cent of every GoRide trip will be the right of the driver. This is a\nsignificant change for us,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, he noted that Gojek will strengthen welfare programmes\nfor driver partners and their families as a form of support in realising\nthe \u2018Asta Cita\u2019 mission concerning the creation of quality employment\nand economic equality.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, Hans mentioned that the company will also optimise\nother business lines to support the changes brought about by the\nadaptation to Perpres 27\/2026. \u201cAs part of the GoTo ecosystem, we have\nvarious mutually supporting and continuously growing business lines.\nThis includes delivery services, logistics, finance, and various other\ndigital services,\u201d said Hans.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the implementation timeline, the company stated it is still\nawaiting further details from the government. \u201cRegarding the details of\nthe implementation and the detailed plan, we are still waiting for the\nspecific details of the Presidential Regulation.
