Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to deliver\na direct briefing to TNI unit commanders (dansat) at the climax of the\n2026 TNI Unit Commanders\u2019 Roll Call at the National Defence University,\nSentul, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Thursday.<\/p>\n
Several preparations have been carried out ahead of the President\u2019s\narrival at the National Defence University campus, as shared by the\nofficial broadcast of the Presidential Secretariat in Jakarta on\nThursday morning. Among these preparations are room decorations\nfeaturing a painting of President Prabowo, followed by a portrait of the\nsixth President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.<\/p>\n
These paintings are displayed along the area leading to the\nauditorium where President Prabowo will deliver his briefing to the TNI\nunit commanders today.<\/p>\n
The 2026 TNI Unit Commanders\u2019 Roll Call is being held centrally at\nthe National Defence University campus since Wednesday (29\/4). Several\nministers from the Merah Putih Cabinet have also provided material to\nthe TNI unit commanders. At least around 1,500 unit commanders from the\nthree TNI branches are participating in the two-day series of roll calls\nat the Unhan campus.<\/p>\n
Some of the ministers delivering material include Coordinating\nMinister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Marine Affairs and\nFisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, Interior Minister Tito Karnavian,\nMinister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, and Minister\nof Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman.<\/p>\n
Within the TNI, TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto has also given\nhis direct instructions to the unit commanders. Then, Deputy TNI\nCommander General TNI Tandyo Budi Revita, followed by the chiefs of\nstaff, one of whom is Army Chief of Staff General TNI Maruli\nSimanjuntak, have also provided material to the unit commanders.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, from the defence industry and national strategic\nindustry sector, there are also material providers from PT Agrinas and\nPT Pindad.<\/p>\n
In his presentation at the event on Wednesday, Interior Minister Tito\nhighlighted the active role of the TNI in assisting the government to\ncontrol inflation and maintain national stability.<\/p>\n
\u201cI believe inflation needs to be known by all of us, the children of\nthe nation, especially the TNI ranks which are one of Indonesia\u2019s main\npillars. Not many vertical institutions have such an organised\nstructure, already well-established from the centre to the villages\n(like the TNI),\u201d said Tito Karnavian.<\/p>\n
According to Tito, if inflation is controlled, the potential for\nrises in basic commodity prices and social stability disruptions can be\nprevented. Therefore, the involvement of all government components, both\nat the central and regional levels, including the Regional Leadership\nCoordination Forum (Forkopimda) ranks, is crucial. The TNI is part of\nthe Forkopimda in the regions.<\/p>\n
\u201cInflation is important to maintain our national resilience from\ninfiltration or pressure from abroad.
