        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo\nSubianto inspected a waste processing facility in Banyumas Regency to\npromote a sustainable waste management system that transforms rubbish\ninto economically valuable products through national circular economy\nprinciples.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is very effective, I think. It serves as an example for many\nprovinces, many regencies, and even other countries have come here,\u201d\nsaid President Prabowo in Banyumas, Central Java, on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The President directly observed the waste processing process from\nupstream to downstream at the Environment and Education-Based Integrated\nWaste Processing Site (TPST BLE) in Banyumas, including the use of local\ntechnology to significantly reduce waste volume.<\/p>\n<p>The President appreciated the effectiveness of the system because it\ncan produce various derivative products that have utility and high\nmarket value for the region.<\/p>\n<p>In his statement, President Prabowo said that TPST BLE is a\nbreakthrough and a very good initiative in waste management in\nIndonesia.<\/p>\n<p>According to Prabowo, the use of technology that is not too\nsophisticated but effective is the key to the success of the facility\nlocated in Central Java.<\/p>\n<p>The system operates regularly, starting from handling waste at the\nhousehold level to final management at the regency level\ncollectively.<\/p>\n<p>The main facilities available at the site include a pre-shredder\nmachine, trommel screen, organic shredder, waste cleaning machine, and\nconveyor drive.<\/p>\n<p>The presence of these devices supports the efficient sorting and\nprocessing of waste to achieve maximum waste reduction targets at the\nfinal processing site.<\/p>\n<p>According to the President, building TPSTs in other regions also aims\nto create new job opportunities for residents around the location. Waste\nprocessing facilities can become one of the drivers of people\u2019s economy\nbased on environmental management.<\/p>\n<p>Various derivative products that can be produced from waste\nprocessing include plastic roof tiles, plastic paving, and fresh maggots\nfor animal feed.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, organic fertiliser and alternative fuel in the form of\nrefuse-derived fuel (RDF) with high market value for industry are also\nproduced.<\/p>\n<p>This strategic step is part of the government\u2019s grand vision to\nstrengthen the green economy and regional self-reliance through\nsustainable resource management.<\/p>\n<p>The government is committed to changing the stigma of waste from an\nenvironmental problem into an economic opportunity.<\/p>",
