        "content": "<p>In his speech at the Plenary Session of the House of Representatives\non the Macro Economic Framework and Core Principles of the Fiscal Policy\nof the RAPBN 2027, President Prabowo Subianto set a target for the\nrupiah against the US dollar at Rp 16,800\u201317,500 per US$ for the 2027\nfiscal year. \u201cOur fiscal and monetary strategy must be one that can\nmaintain our exchange rate stability,\u201d Prabowo said at the 19th Plenary\nSession of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, 20 May 2026.\nCompared with the APBN 2026, the target has risen from the previously\nset Rp 16,500 per US$. In addition to the exchange rate, the President\nannounced a number of macro assumptions for RAPBN 2027. For economic\ngrowth, he targets 5.8\u20136.5%. For inflation, 1.5\u20133.5%.
