President Prabowo Subianto attended the \u2018Building Indonesia\u2019s Future\nGenerations Through Nutrition\u2019 agenda held at the Sentul International\nConvention Centre, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Wednesday. The event\nserves as part of the government\u2019s efforts to strengthen its commitment\nto the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme.<\/p>\n
A total of 12,173 participants attended the event, representing\nvarious elements of the MBG programme implementation, including Heads of\nNutrition Fulfilment Service Offices (KPPG), Regional Coordinators of\nNutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG), Regional Coordinators, Heads\nof SPPG, and various partners involved in programme implementation\nacross various regions.<\/p>\n
In his address, Prabowo expressed his appreciation to all MBG\nprogramme implementers who have been working in various regions,\nincluding remote and challenging areas. He noted that their commitment\nand hard work play a vital role in the success of this strategic\nprogramme, which aims to improve the quality of Indonesia\u2019s human\nresources.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Head of the National Nutrition Agency, Nanik Sudary\nPrime, explained that the participants present represented MBG programme\nimplementers from various regions of Indonesia, both at the central and\nregional levels. She noted that the group included 20 Heads of Nutrition\nFulfilment Service Offices (KPPG) from Sabang to Merauke, led by civil\nservants, as well as Regional Coordinators (Koreg) of SPPG from across\nthe country.<\/p>\n
She also mentioned that while participants were present from DKI\nJakarta, Banten, and West Java, thousands of implementing partners also\nattended to support the MBG programme. The participation of these\nimplementers and partners represents the synergy required to strengthen\nthe implementation of the MBG programme to produce a healthy, resilient,\nand competitive Indonesian generation.<\/p>\n
Through this forum, the government also encouraged the strengthening\nof coordination and the alignment of steps among all implementers to\nensure the programme is executed effectively and sustainably, providing\nmaximum impact for the community.<\/p>\n
President Prabowo was accompanied by the Coordinating Minister for\nFood Affairs, Zulkifli Hasan, the State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, and\nthe Head of the National Nutrition Agency, Nanik Sudaryati.
