He noted that savings could reach 50 to 70\nper cent compared to using petrol-fuelled motorcycles. This was conveyed\nby Prabowo during the inauguration of the National Electric Motorcycle\nEcosystem (Molinas) in Cikarang, West Java, on Thursday, 13 August 2026.\nAccording to Prabowo, the adoption of electric vehicles is a strategic\nstep to reduce Indonesia\u2019s dependence on energy supplies from abroad.\n\u201cWe calculated earlier, using an electric motorcycle compared to a\npetrol one saves at least 50 per cent. Your daily fuel expenses can be\ncut by a minimum of 50 per cent, possibly even up to 70 per cent,\u201d he\nexplained.
