President Prabowo Subianto arrived at the DPR\/MPR building on Friday,\n14 August 2025, to attend the annual session of the People\u2019s\nConsultative Assembly (MPR).<\/p>\n
According to VIVA\u2019s observations at the scene, President Prabowo\narrived at 08.05 WIB. The Head of State was greeted by MPR Speaker Ahmad\nMuzani and DPD Speaker Sultan Najamuddin.<\/p>\n
Prabowo wore a dark grey suit and proceeded directly into the DPR\/MPR\nbuilding alongside Muzani and Sultan. He was also welcomed by Vice\nPresident Gibran Rakabuming Raka.<\/p>\n
Also present were a number of officials, including MPR Speaker Ahmad\nMuzani, MPR Deputy Speakers Eddy Soeparno, Bambang Wuryanto and Rusdi\nKirana, the 10th and 12th Vice President Jusuf Kalla, the 11th Vice\nPresident Boediono, and the 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).<\/p>\n
Also in attendance were Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and\nRegional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Coordinating Minister for\nHuman Development and Culture Pratikno, Coordinating Minister for\nCommunity Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin), Foreign Minister\nSugiono, Trade Minister Budi Santoso, Villages and Development of\nDisadvantaged Regions Minister Yandri Susanto, and Finance Minister\nPurbaya Yudhi Sadewa.<\/p>\n
In addition, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, TNI\nCommander General Agus Subiyanto, Minister of Women\u2019s Empowerment and\nChild Protection Arifah Fauzi, Religious Affairs Minister Nasaruddin\nUmar, Constitutional Court Chief Justice Suhartoyo, Constitutional Court\nDeputy Chief Justice Saldi Isra, Head of the Presidential Communication\nOffice M Qodari, and Presidential Chief of Staff Dudung Abdurrahman were\nalso present.<\/p>\n
For context, MPR Speaker Ahmad Muzani stated that the agenda for the\nMPR Annual Session and the Joint Session of the MPR\/DPR\/DPD would be\nheld on Friday, 14 August 2026.<\/p>\n
He said the annual session would run from morning until midday. In\nthe agenda, President Prabowo Subianto will deliver a state address and\npresent a report on the performance of government institutions.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will listen to the President\u2019s state address as head of state, as\nwell as the performance report of state institutions,\u201d Muzani said at\nthe Parliament Complex in Central Jakarta on Wednesday, 5 August\n2026.<\/p>\n
Besides Prabowo, Muzani said he would also deliver a speech. The\nSpeaker of the DPR and the Speaker of the DPD will also give\naddresses.<\/p>\n
Muzani explained that the MPR would invite former presidents and vice\npresidents, ministers, ambassadors of friendly nations, and chairpersons\nof political parties.<\/p>\n
