        "content": "<p>\u201cAmid crises, Indonesia has innovative sons and daughters who never\ngive up and are eager to seek new knowledge,\u201d the president said during\na corn harvest event and the inauguration of 10 food reserve facilities\nbuilt by the National Police in Tuban District, East Java, on\nSaturday.<\/p>\n<p>The president highlighted corn cob-based briquettes and coal-derived\nfertilizer as sustainable alternatives that bolster food security\ninitiatives led by the Indonesian Police.<\/p>\n<p>Prabowo specifically encouraged wider use of innovative fertilizers,\nsaying he believed they would help Indonesia achieve self-sufficiency in\nfertilizer production.<\/p>\n<p>He also joked that foreign guests attending the event might discover\nIndonesia\u2019s agricultural \u201csecrets.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI may have made a mistake by inviting them, as they could learn\nabout our innovations. But that\u2019s okay. For humanitarian reasons, you\nare welcome to replicate what Indonesia has achieved,\u201d he quipped.<\/p>\n<p>Before delivering his remarks, the president observed demonstrations\nof police-led innovations in corn farming, including coal-based\nfertilizer, hybrid corn seeds, and the process of making briquettes from\ncorn cobs.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 36 regional police offices are participating in the\nsecond-quarter corn harvest project, covering more than 189,000\nhectares.
