Not only for\nsecuring domestic concert tickets but also for potentially watching in\nneighbouring countries if they fail to get tickets in Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>The South Korean K-pop group will stage their BTS WORLD TOUR\n\u201cARIRANG\u201d across various Asian cities and Australia.<\/p>\n<p>The Asia-Pacific leg of the tour is scheduled for November and\nDecember 2026, extending into early 2027.<\/p>\n<p>BTS is set to perform in Kaohsiung, Taiwan on 19, 21-22 November;\nBangkok on 3, 5-6 December; Kuala Lumpur on 12-13 December; Singapore on\n17, 19-20, 22 December; and Jakarta on 26-27 December.<\/p>\n<p>Ticket sales are approaching. For the Jakarta concert, the promoter\nhas opened Weverse ARMY Membership presale registration from 22 May to\n27 May 2026 at 10:00 WIB.<\/p>\n<p>Membership presale tickets will go on sale on 9 June 2026 from 12:00\nto 22:00 WIB, followed by general public sales starting 11 June 2026 at\n12:00 WIB.<\/p>\n<p>Fan enthusiasm for BTS is expected to be immense. However, high ticket demand may force many fans to prepare\nalternative plans, including watching abroad if they fail to secure\ntickets in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Neighbouring countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, and\nAustralia are viable options for Indonesian BTS fans. These destinations\nare not only relatively accessible but also part of BTS\u2019s Asia-Pacific\ntour schedule.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, fans planning to watch abroad must consider the rupiah\u2019s\nexchange rate against the destination country\u2019s currency. Exchange rates\nare crucial as ticket prices, accommodation, transport, meals, and\nmerchandise purchases will all be priced in local currency.<\/p>\n<p>According to Refinitiv data up to Tuesday\u2019s (26 May 2026) market\nclose, the rupiah has weakened against all four currencies over the past\nyear.<\/p>\n<p>For instance, the Malaysian ringgit (MYR) is currently at\nRp4,466.6\/MYR, with the rupiah weakening 16.3% against it over the past\nyear.<\/p>\n<p>The Singapore dollar (SGD) is at Rp13,907\/SGD, representing a 10.0%\ndepreciation against the rupiah in the last 12 months.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, against the Thai baht (THB), the rupiah stands at\nRp544.4\/THB, having weakened 9.4% over the past year.<\/p>\n<p>Against the Australian dollar (AUD), the rupiah\u2019s depreciation is the\nmost pronounced among the four currencies, falling 21.0% over the past\nyear to a rate of Rp12,739\/AUD.<\/p>\n<p>With these exchange rates, Indonesian ARMY members can start\ncalculating potential costs if they need to watch the concert abroad due\nto unavailability of Jakarta tickets.<\/p>\n<p>However, the rupiah\u2019s depreciation over the past year may make travel\ncosts to these nearby countries more expensive, as concert tickets,\nhotels, transport, meals, and merchandise purchases are all priced in\nlocal currency.<\/p>",
