"summary": "The preliminary hearing for Indra Iskandar, Secretary General of the Indonesian House of Representatives, resumed at the South Jakarta District Court, where his legal team presented testimony from a criminal law expert to support his challenge against the Corruption Eradication Commission's (KPK) designation of him as a suspect in a procurement corruption case. Indra seeks to have his suspect status declared invalid, the investigation halted, travel restrictions lifted, seized passport returned, and his reputation restored, amid ongoing calculations of state losses that have delayed arrests. The KPK maintains that the suspect determination was lawful and evidence-based, with their own experts scheduled for the next session, highlighting tensions in Indonesia's anti-corruption efforts involving high-level officials.",
