Among the figures widely slated to join the\ncouncil is Pratikno, the former Coordinating Minister for Human\nDevelopment and Culture.<\/p>\n<p>Based on Tempo\u2019s observation on the ground, Pratikno arrived at the\nPresidential Palace complex in Jakarta at around 1:52 p.m. WIB. He is\ntipped to assume the post of Wantimpres chair. \u201cI was invited today for\nthe Wantimpres appointment,\u201d said the former State Secretary under\nPresident Joko Widodo on Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>However, Pratikno noted that he had not yet received a physical copy\nof the presidential decree regarding the advisory board\nappointments.<\/p>\n<p>He stressed, \u201cAny assignment carried out in the interest of the state\nand the public must be executed to the best of our ability.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Wantimpres is a government body tasked with offering counsel and\nrecommendations to the head of state, as mandated by Article 16 of the\n1945 Constitution. Placed directly beneath the President, the council\nanswers straight to the chief executive.<\/p>\n<p>The institution is charged with advising the President on matters\nregarding the exercise of executive power.
