        "content": "<p>Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has highlighted a bullying case\ninvolving a six-year-old child in the Senen area of Central Jakarta,\nstressing that he will not tolerate acts of bullying in the capital and\ndemanding firm action against the perpetrators. \u201cRegarding the bullying\nthat occurred in Senen, because it was caught on CCTV, I have asked for\nit to be followed up. Whoever commits bullying in Jakarta, we will take\nthe firmest possible action,\u201d Pramono said in West Jakarta on Thursday\n(11\/6\/2026). Pramono stated that sanctions would also apply if the\nperpetrator is a student receiving educational assistance from the\nJakarta provincial government. He said such aid could be revoked as a\nform of guidance and disciplinary enforcement. \u201cIf, for example, the\nperpetrator is a student holding a Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) or a Jakarta\nSuperior Student Card (KJMU), we will withdraw their KJP or KJMU,\u201d he\nadded. He has instructed relevant agencies to take preventive and\nsupervisory measures to avoid similar incidents. The Education Agency\nand Satpol PP have been asked to monitor locations prone to bullying. \u201cI\nhave conveyed this to the relevant agencies, especially the Education\nAgency, including Satpol PP and others, regarding spaces where such\nbullying occurs. Previously, a circulating video showed\nthe victim playing with several other children before two teenagers\nsuddenly arrived and dragged him to an electric pole. The child was then\nelectrocuted until he lost consciousness, after which the two\nperpetrators immediately fled. The other children who had been playing\nwith the victim then gathered around him. The perpetrators returned to\nthe scene some time later, pulled the victim away from the electric\npole, and moved him to a seat before fleeing again. The victim\u2019s\ngrandmother, Linda Reselin, explained that the child had to be\nhospitalised following the incident.
