        "content": "<p>Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has targeted the revitalisation of\nSemanggi Park to be completed in 2027. The project is being prepared as\na gift for the 500th anniversary celebration of Jakarta City.<\/p>\n<p>Pramono stated this while attending the BUMD Leaders Forum 2026 in\nthe Ancol area, North Jakarta, on Friday (17\/4\/2026). He said that the\nconcept for the layout of Semanggi Park has entered its final stage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVery soon, yesterday there was already the final presentation. I am\nconfident that next year, hopefully on 22 June, Semanggi Park will be\nfinished; it will be a gift for Jakarta\u2019s 500th year,\u201d said Pramono.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the Semanggi Park area will undergo a major\ntransformation compared to its current condition. The layout is being\ncarried out to make the area a more modern, organised, and comfortable\npublic space for the community.<\/p>\n<p>Pramono also mentioned that this project is part of efforts to\nbeautify the face of the capital ahead of the 500-year milestone of\nJakarta. In addition to Semanggi Park, several other points are being\nimproved, such as Bundaran HI.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBundaran HI and so on will be laid out, but Semanggi Park will\nchange completely,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the development does not entirely rely on the regional\nrevenue and expenditure budget (APBD). The DKI Jakarta Provincial\nGovernment is also encouraging creative financing schemes to accelerate\nthe project\u2019s realisation.<\/p>\n<p>Pramono gave examples of several projects that have been built\nwithout using APBD, one of which is Taman Bendera Pusaka.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJakarta cannot only rely on APBD. We must utilise other financing\nschemes,\u201d he added.<\/p>",
