        "content": "<p>Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo has set a target for the\nconstruction of the Integrated Utility Network (SJUT) to be completed\nwithin the next five years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo be honest, I am planning that within five years, all cables\ncurrently on the surface can be moved underground. Whether five years is\nachievable or not remains to be seen, as there are approximately 6,500\nkilometres that must be addressed. However, if this is handled\ntotally\u2014meaning not relying solely on the Department of Public Works\n(Bina Marga)\u2014I am confident it can be done,\u201d said Pramono after\ninspecting cable management on Jalan Soepomo, Tebet, South Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, once these cables have been successfully organised\nor placed underground, the face of Jakarta will be significantly\ndifferent and improved.<\/p>\n<p>Pramono explained that the cables currently undergoing management are\ncommunication cables, as the relocation of electrical cables is a more\ntime-consuming process.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn principle, there are two types of cables: one for communication\nand one for electricity. Currently, the ones that can be moved\nunderground are those related to communication. Meanwhile, cables\nrelated to electricity still require more time,\u201d Pramono elaborated.<\/p>\n<p>Pramono also requested that the cable management in the capital\ninvolve private parties to ensure the target is met.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTherefore, private sector involvement is very necessary so that this\ncan be achieved collectively, as the legal framework is already in\nplace. We believe this is also a commercially attractive business\nopportunity, so that the relocation of cables can become a joint\nmovement carried out by all stakeholders in Jakarta,\u201d said Pramono.<\/p>\n<p>On the same occasion, the Head of the Department of Public Works,\nHeru Suwondo, stated that the construction of the SJUT is currently\nbeing carried out at eight locations, covering a total length of 16.9\nkilometres.<\/p>\n<p>Heru explained that the eight construction points for the SJUT\ninclude MT Haryono, Gatot Subroto, Supomo, Abdullah Syafei, Saharjo,\nPemuda, Otista, Tebet Barat Dalam Raya, Matraman, and Jatinegara.<\/p>",
