        "content": "<p>Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo has explained his reasons for\nrequesting support from Danantara to continue the construction of the\nLRT network to the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) and the\nJakarta-Bandung high-speed rail (Whoosh) station at Halim. Pram, as he\nis affectionately known, stated that as the leader of Jakarta, he must\nprepare alternative financing options for the development of the Jakarta\nLRT. He previously mentioned that the funding for the LRT construction\ncould involve the use of bonds.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs the governor and leader of Jakarta, I must certainly have various\nalternative financing methods to complete the LRT in Jakarta,\u201d Pramono\nsaid during a press conference following the inauguration of the Kelapa\nGading-Manggarai LRT at Manggarai LRT Station on Wednesday\n(16\/09\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the follow-up project for the Manggarai-Dukuh Atas\nLRT route requires approximately Rp 2.7 trillion and is scheduled to\ncommence in 2027. According to him, while the funds are essentially\navailable, various other alternative financing sources are still\nrequired.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn essence, it could come from bonds, the Regional Budget (APBD), or\nalso from Danantara,\u201d Pramono stated.<\/p>\n<p>In the future, the Jakarta LRT route will be expanded to include JIS\nand the Whoosh Halim Station. The construction of this route is expected\nto utilise funds from Danantara or bonds. Furthermore, he expressed his\nsatisfaction that, in accordance with the directives of President\nPrabowo Subianto during the event, the Jakarta Provincial Government\nwill immediately proceed with the LRT route towards JIS and the Whoosh\nHalim Station.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOnce connected, the central part of the Jakarta LRT will effectively\nlink the North, East, and South to the Central region,\u201d Pramono\nadded.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, President Prabowo Subianto stated that Danantara\nIndonesia is obligated to assist the Jakarta Provincial Government in\ncontinuing the LRT development.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe Danantara must assist, because Jakarta does not belong\nonly to those living in Jakarta; Jakarta belongs to the entire nation,\u201d\nPrabowo emphasised.<\/p>",
