Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has released humanitarian aid worth Rp\n5.8 billion for earthquake victims in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Pramono\nsaid the assistance was a form of empathy from the Jakarta Provincial\nGovernment and the people of Jakarta.<\/p>\n
The aid, totalling Rp 5,853,728,500, was dispatched from Jakarta City\nHall on Thursday (20\/8\/2026). It consists of food and non-food\nlogistics, cash, and a mobile water treatment plant (WTP).<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is part of our sense of empathy, togetherness, and humanity,\nsharing the feelings of the Jakarta Provincial Government and the people\nof Jakarta,\u201d Pramono said.<\/p>\n
Pramono said the Jakarta Provincial Government had sent a health team\nto NTT a day after the earthquake occurred. The team is now on site to\nassist in handling victims.<\/p>\n
Pramono also revealed other needs conveyed by the team in the field.\nOne of them is nappies for children and the elderly.<\/p>\n
\u201cYesterday I also communicated with the Governor of NTT; he expressed\nappreciation for the Jakarta Provincial Government, which was the first\nto send aid. I also communicated with our team there,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cEarlier I also told the Head of the Regional Disaster Management\nAgency that one of the things needed is nappies. Because the conditions\nrequire it, especially for the elderly and children,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n
Therefore, Pramono asked that nappies be one of the priorities in the\nnext aid shipment.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor future shipments, I have said that nappies are one of our\npriorities,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Pramono stressed that the Rp 5.8 billion aid was not the last. The\nJakarta Provincial Government is still opening opportunities for civil\nservants, regional apparatuses, regional-owned enterprises, and other\nparties to participate until 25 August.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is the initial stage, once again the amount is Rp 5.8 billion.\nHopefully it will provide benefits for our brothers and sisters in NTT,\u201d\nhe said.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the Chief Executive of the Jakarta Regional Disaster\nManagement Agency (BPBD), Marulitua Sijabat, said the aid came from a\nnumber of regional apparatuses, regional-owned enterprises, and Baznas\nBazis DKI Jakarta. Aid from BPBD DKI includes ready-to-eat meals,\nbiscuits, mineral water, folding mattresses, pillows, blankets, family\nkits, children\u2019s wear, tarpaulins, and sacks.<\/p>\n
The Jakarta Social Agency sent mineral water, children\u2019s food\npackages, and tarpaulins or rolled tents. Meanwhile, the Jakarta Health\nAgency provided aid in the form of NaCl infusions, RL infusions, D40\npercent infusions, and betadine. Baznas Bazis DKI also provided\nsardines, corned beef, baby biscuits, baby porridge, instant porridge,\ninstant noodles, and rendang.<\/p>\n
Perumda PAM Jaya also provided 202 water tanks. In addition to goods,\nthere was cash amounting to Rp 1.11 billion, which was a donation from\nregional-owned enterprises and regional apparatus organisations (OPD) of\nDKI Jakarta.
