Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo has ensured that the\npreparation of the 2026 Regional Budget Amendment Draft will prioritise\nthe principles of caution and prudence to ensure all planned programmes\nare executed effectively.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Jakarta regional budget is prepared with caution and prudence. I\nhave informed the Regional Budget Team (TPAD) involved in discussions\nwith the Jakarta Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) that it is\nbetter for us to have a prudent budget that is carefully managed yet\nimplementable,\u201d Pramono stated in Jakarta on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Pramono admitted that he does not want the budget structure to appear\nlarge if it cannot be effectively implemented.<\/p>\n
Beyond the budget preparation itself, this principle of prudence is\nalso being applied to the development of creative financing utilised for\nJakarta\u2019s infrastructure and development.<\/p>\n
\u201cTherefore, I am confident that with the existing budget, the quality\nof development in Jakarta will not be diminished,\u201d Pramono added.<\/p>\n
For the record, the Jakarta Provincial Government has proposed a 2026\nRegional Budget Amendment of Rp79.59 trillion, a decrease of 2.13 per\ncent compared to the original 2026 Regional Revenue and Expenditure\nBudget of Rp81.32 trillion.<\/p>\n
Regional Revenue in the 2026 Budget Amendment is planned at Rp69.36\ntrillion, a decrease of 2.93 per cent compared to the original 2026\nbudget of Rp71.45 trillion.<\/p>\n
