        "content": "<p>Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung believes that the launch of the 2026\nElectronic Monitoring and Evaluation (E-Monev) application for Public\nInformation Disclosure by the Jakarta Information Commission (KI) is a\nvital step towards making information disclosure easier, more effective,\ntransparent, and accountable.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the E-Monev application, the monitoring and evaluation process\nis expected to become increasingly easy, effective, transparent, and\naccountable,\u201d Pramono stated in a briefing in Jakarta on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>He also called upon all public bodies to work together to improve the\nquality of public information disclosure, adding, \u201cLet us realise a\nJakarta that is open, trusted, and ready to go global.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In line with this direction, the Chairman of the Jakarta Information\nCommission, Harry Ara Hutabarat, noted that the 2026 E-Monev for Public\nInformation Disclosure features a specific focus on information\nregarding waste sorting and management movements.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis will serve as a special thematic assessment observed through\nperiodic information, immediate information, and digitalisation\naspects,\u201d said Harry.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, this theme aligns with the policies of the Jakarta\nProvincial Government and is expected to encourage public bodies to\nprovide information relevant to community needs while supporting the\nresolution of strategic issues in Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasised that E-Monev is not merely an annual assessment agenda,\nbut also an instrument to drive continuous improvements in information\ndisclosure.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cE-Monev is not just an annual activity, but serves as both a mirror\nand an instrument to see the extent to which public information\ndisclosure is being implemented by public bodies,\u201d Aang stated.<\/p>\n<p>He delivered this message during the Technical Guidance (Bimtek) for\nthe 2026 E-Monev for Public Information Disclosure, held online in\nJakarta on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The event was attended by 1,001 public bodies divided into 22\ncategories as part of the implementation series for E-Monev 2026.<\/p>\n<p>During the technical guidance, experts from the Jakarta Information\nCommission provided technical instructions for completing the\nSelf-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ), including procedures for submission\nand the provision of supporting evidence to ensure accuracy,\ncompleteness, and accountability.<\/p>",
