        "content": "<p>President Prabowo Subianto conducted a working visit to Miangas\nIsland in North Sulawesi on Saturday (9\/5\/2026). During the visit,\nPrabowo held a dialogue with local residents.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI came to see the conditions on Miangas Island, Indonesia\u2019s\nnorthernmost outermost island. I just came from the Philippines, and it\nturns out it\u2019s quite close to the Philippines,\u201d Prabowo said.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, Prabowo, along with a limited delegation, attended the\nASEAN Summit in Cebu, Philippines, on 7-8 May.<\/p>\n<p>Prabowo then inspected the existing facilities on Miangas Island and\npromised improvements to the airport, health centres, and schools.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am the second president; Mr Jokowi (the 7th President of\nIndonesia) has already done so. Mr Jokowi inaugurated the airport, and I\nwill repair or maintain it to make it even better,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd earlier I saw some health centres.
