Prabowo stated\nthat he had signed a Presidential Regulation on the Ratification of\nInternational Labour Organization (ILO) Convention No.\u00a0188. \u201cThere is\nanother gift for workers. I have just signed Presidential Regulation\nNo.\u00a025 of 2026 on the Ratification of International Labour Organization\nConvention No.\u00a0188 to ensure protection and welfare for fishing vessel\ncrew,\u201d Prabowo said at Monas, Jakarta, on Friday (1\/5\/2026). According\nto him, for the first time in Indonesia\u2019s history, fishermen are being\ncared for by the state. \u201cNext year, we will open 1,500 fishing villages.\nThe following year, another 1,500, and the year after that, another\n1,500,\u201d he explained.
