        "content": "<p>Secretary to the Cabinet Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that President\nPrabowo Subianto\u2019s official state visit to France on Thursday, 28 May,\nyielded four new commercial agreements focused on energy security,\ntrade, and defence cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>Teddy, confirmed in Jakarta on Friday, said the achievements were\nconcrete results from President Prabowo\u2019s meeting with French President\nEmmanuel Macron at the \u00c9lys\u00e9e Palace in Paris.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018During the state visit, four new commercial agreements were secured\nin the sectors of energy security, trade, and defence cooperation,\u2019\nTeddy said.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that both leaders attended the launch of the\nFrance-Indonesia High Level Business Council, initiated by Indonesia\u2019s\nChamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) and MEDEF International.<\/p>\n<p>The forum brought together 30 industry leaders and companies from\nboth nations, with a combined market capitalisation of $1.3\ntrillion.<\/p>\n<p>Teddy added that the forum aims to strengthen business and investment\nties between the two countries and oversee the implementation of\nprevious memorandums of understanding.<\/p>\n<p>During President Macron\u2019s state visit to Indonesia in May 2025, 27\nmemorandums of understanding were signed worth over $11 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Teddy noted that President Prabowo\u2019s state visit received formal\nwelcomes from the French government, including a ceremony at Les\nInvalides in Paris and a reception by French Prime Minister S\u00e9bastien\nLecornu.<\/p>\n<p>President Prabowo then proceeded to the \u00c9lys\u00e9e Palace under an honour\nguard of 146 mounted cavalry troops and 27 motorised personnel before\nbeing received by President Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron.<\/p>\n<p>According to Teddy, the dignified state ceremonies reflected the\nstrong bilateral relationship between the two nations.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Honouring the President is an honour for the Indonesian nation and\npeople,\u2019 he added.<\/p>",
